Quick Otakon Update!

Alright everyone. Here are a few more that I have been able to scan and get up that will be with me at Otakon. I still have plenty to put up but you may not see them until monday/tuesday. I leave for Maryland on wednesday hurrah!!


This one up here is a portrait of a character from a story I am working on, he is the villain. I suppose I rendered him a bit more realistically when I initially intended XD But oh well I really like the way it turned out.


A more finished version of this piece I did. The third one doesn't seem to want to cooperate so! Until next time!

Otakon '11

Hurrah! So I will be at Otakon this year in the Artist Alley. I should be sitting at either A10 or A11 closer to the entrance. Here is one work that will be there. It's meant to have four panels but they will be sold together in a poster and then in twos. More to come! There will be text at the bottom, but it won't be put on until all four are done!

Dinosaur vs Monkey

An older drawing done for my materials and techniques class! Drawn and inked by hand, colored in photoshop. This was done a year ago. In this digital coloring class I am in, my skills shall improve :)

Diptych

The two pieces above are meant to be seen together, but you can look at them individually as well. It was an assignment for my Drawing 3 class. Violin boy and ZOMBIE HORSE! Both are 18x24 on separate panels.

Pastel Water Distortion

The assignment here was to take an image with water distorting a figure. This is a self portrait and I was not harmed by the knife! Done in Rembrandt soft pastels. 16x20. Flickr decided not to work for me, so I had to upload this through another host. :)

Linework - Tas

Two images above. The first one is unedited and the second is edited, attempting to make the pencil darker. The pencil is a bit messy, I erased quite a bit on it, and it is also done on watercolor paper. I intend to watercolor this piece and the pencil will get even cleaner before that. The darker lines is just for your viewing pleasure. Another upload will come later with the finished, colored copy.
